I had the splitter installed by my local shop. I think it was fairly straight forward but not absolute perfect fit. Shop did their thing and it looks perfect on the X5. They did tape and screw the splitter in place. The kit came with hardware. However, my shop said they used their own as the ones included were too small?

The install (per the installer) was much more involved that what he originally thought. Took close to 3 hours....mainly due to the 'stuff' underneath the car from the front bumper cover. Glad I didn't attempt lol. Overall, fitment seems excellent, not sure I could tell the difference if it were aftermarket or from the factory by the way it seamlessly fits with the car. The material quality also seems very good, although to me, plastic feels like plastic so not sure how it will hold up over time. Color match/finish is perfect (gloss black).

Does the front lip not match up or end evenly with the fender well, its doesn't appear too?

There is a very small gap between the end of the splitter and the wheel well. Honestly, I didn't even notice it, but it's the exact same on both sides. Maybe 1/8 inch?

Installed the lip but the fitment could be better. The self tapping screws are coming undone leaving a gap on both sides so I will work on getting it reinstalled.
