My rear diffuser is a BMW M carbon fiber diffuser. i think the shadows played a part in that picture.

I can't seem to find where to buy this retrofit part for my 2022 X5 m50i. Can you post links? I searched a few of the sites referenced but can't seem to find it.

Also, anyone use the IND painted version of this and know if it's OEM BMW?

I believe the IND item is genuine BMW. For that price, I would expect it to be.

Just finished mine. Def the hint of cutting off clip made it easier. Approx about 30 min. to do.

Thanks for all of your help with the post. I can see how you’d pull of and on if the middle clip was still on.

Yes I went the black route. I felt a bit douche with the color match pythonic blue.

Splitter will also be black. I will update the post when I clean it. It’s been so dirty.

Oh that will all tie in nicely! I still have to install my RW carbon fiber front splitter, side skirts and rear winglets. Package arrived but then I left for my vacation and will hopefully have it installed in about a week or so. I don’t have any other carbon fiber on the car and wished the parts were in gloss black but I think it will add a nice touch on mineral white.

Yes, I have a 2025 sDrive 40i and it fit just fine.

So the video posted is the correct process? I thought we don’t remove some panels from inside? Anyone have updated steps for this?

Just did mine. It’s simple. Open the hatch > remove the 4 rubber gaskets > remove the the 4 screws > slide off.

Looks like it has been repainted.
I would try to get the selling dealer to fix or replace it.
