My ‘21 X5 G05 came with a silver grille and active shutters with the silver teeth. Anyone paint or wrap those before? Seems easy to just use correction pain over but wanted to ask here.

Yeah, i covered my silver 'teeth' with black vinyl when I swapped to a black grille. Its an eay job and they're well hidden when the grille is on so even if its not perfect, you will never see the imperfections.

You can also buy used gloss black grill shutters off eBay for around $200 or a little bit less that’s the route I took.

This is something I’m also interested in for my x7. Can’t find any replacement shutters on eBay. Going to speak to bmw tomorrow to see what the cost would be for the replacement part from them. Failing that it’s going to be a wrap or paint.
