Might be better to ceramic coating it for the scratches?

Installation was 120, took me and the mechanic almost 2 hours to do it

got mine as well and pretty happy with it. easy install but had to drill the middle part and it was a bisnatch to screw that part

I received it yesterday. The build quality seems to be good, I could not check the fit yet because I do not have my vehicle yet. The carbon structure does not look good, so I would paint the splitter black.

Great job on the installation, yours turned out flush with the rest of the vehicle.

The other two members had theirs installed too far down/underneath which looks off to me.

I also ordered the carbon look one, did not like the pattern and color and had it painted black.

They might be X6 not X5. X6 looks like mounted lower not being flush.

Ah good catch... and in that case, I personally wouldn't purchase this particular splitter for an X6, if it can't be installed flush.

Just curious what do you see that's wrong with the carbon fiber look of the splitter? Blemishes or imperfections?

The weave is off.

You have a carbon look one, and a corbon spoiler.
I ordered the carbon look one and it looks like its paint dipped.
Some squares are bigger and other are smaller.
Also not al the squares are square
