The OEM badges are about 32MM the ebay are about 27mm and the font is off! Ask me how I know.....

I am not sure about X5, but when I checked BMW M performance catalog for X6 M60i few days ago from https://bmwtechinfo.bmwgroup.com, they had black rear trunk badge listed. It had different part # for each badge (eg. different part number for X6 and M60i), but I think price was little bit cheaper than Ind painted badge. Unfortunately, my one day subscription to the site expired, so I can no longer check the site.

I had my badges removed by the dealer at delivery. Free.
Looks much cleaner.
Did the same on my 2016 which were on the front doors. Really cleaned it up.
