IMO, there's not a need for air intakes or exhaust, but that's what people want... I want more power, but have to wait for a while until someone configures something new for the changes made from each model.

having slightly more airflow will add slightly more power but not on the same scale

You guys with 50i, does it have charcoal filter on top of regular air filter?
If you do, maybe try removing them.

I just modified my X5 50i: velos Tuning , they just figured out the software for the stage 2 tune. First 50i to be tuned in the U.S. it gave me 154 extra HP and 100ftlbs. Took it to dyno today. I’m sure they have something for the 40i, or can developers it quick due to just finishing mine for the 50i.

2019 BMW X5 50i G05 w/ M Sport Package and just tuned 2/19

Stock HP is 456. Less the 15% loss due to gears, axle, etc. until it gets to the wheels (AWP) at the wheels which is 387HP (awp). So now the dyno read 545HP. That’s actually an increase of 165HP (AWP) at the wheels! So if I sold it to a desk ship and they turned it around to sell it they would advertise it as a 2019 BMW “ “ tuned with 621HP!

I have videos and pics of dyno test, in car videos of 0-60mph runs with Dragy analyzer and some burnout doughnuts if anyone is interested.

do you have the Dyno chart (full one) that's cool, I assume it was a ECU flash? No one by me has tuned them yet from what I've been told It looks like you're pushing 5psi more boost than stock which is 15psi

Can I see the stock Dyno too? normally BMWs are making more WHP than they should but if it's only truly making 387whp I'll be a little disappointed

Post some videos too! What's your 0-60 look like now?

All cars lose 15% more on going through the drivetrain, axle, gears, A/C, steering wheel..etc. and more for AWD cars.

Call BMW and talk to the nice technician and ask him what HP at the wheels was, he will tell you. That’s how I can up with the math. Are you not familiar with this. 456HP x 85%= 387HP. Dyno reads 545HP which is 158HP over stock (WHP) or 158 + 15% = 131HP (a the crank) . So if I or a dealership sold it it whoual be a 2019 BMW “” “” tunes with 609HP!

I think I might get meth injection after my downpipes. In a couple weeks.

I don’t have stock dyno. But I applied the 15% rule. Even though it an AWD (which loses eve more) and is was on a mustang (usually read low) I was selecting the lowest case scenario.

I wish you did a stock Dyno, and yeah I noticed so in reality you're probably pushing 600hp or more (at the wheels). Thanks for the draggy runs, that's very impressive!

upload them to YouTube and link the videos

can you post the full draggy screenshots like mine below?

are the shifts that rough? it looks like draggy invalidated a few from a G spike around when it shifted.

$2300 is a lot for a stage 2 tune. I'm more concerned about running 7-10psi over stock with the factory intake/headers because that's when problems start to arise.

Edit: While not stated I hope they also tuned the transmission for better shift points with the increase in power/torque

He's also running the same boost as the S63 in an M5, too bad the N63 isn't designed to handle those pressures long term
