Mine said the same from CCA, but it took a week from being approved by CCA to having the check in my hands. It was crazy fast.

Bmw cca changed it so that you could buy a 3 yr membership and immediately qualify for a rebate. (Without having to wait a year)

The new change is that you have to wait 6 months before you qualify. I think you still have to buy the 3 yr member ship.
Awesome thank you!

My BMW CCA rebate has been stuck in the "Approved by CCA" status for over 5 weeks now and I still haven't received the rebate check in the mail. Anyone else in a similar situation?

Mine's been a few weeks as well, but I think it's normal, especially during this time where they probably have reduced staffing. Others who have waited months please chime in.

I just got my $1,000 check today from BMW of North America. I took delivery of my G06 on Friday, the 13th in March 2020. I submitted the required documents to BMWCCA immediately and the check came in today on March 23rd. I can't believe that this is so quick. Here is the image of the check. This has gotta be the rebate from BMWCCA, no?

I am in the same position as you, 6 weeks for me. I've seen this before and they do warn us that the process takes time.

I'll ping them at 10 weeks since I'm guessing things are a mess right now.

My X5 took 2 months to get a check but my M2C only took 2 weeks for a check to show up??? Both BMW’s were purchased only 5 months apart so I have no idea why the time was so different???

I got the email from BMWCCA that my rebate was approved on 2/12/20. That email said "it has been taking 3 months (sometimes longer) for BMW NA to process each rebate". No rebate check yet, so I'm just sitting back idle until that 3 month window expires.

This may sound ignorant but I thought that rebates were simply applied/deducted from the purchase price of vehicle.

Just curious...but are you under the assumption that BMW AG/BMW NA and BMW CCA are one-in-the-same? If yes, they are not. BMW CCA (car club of America) is a separate entity from BMW AG, BMW NA or BMW Financial.

BTW...if you’re not a BMW CCA member and are considering joining...see my CCA membership number below (in my signature)if anything I posted helped you decide to become a member. Here’s a link to their website if you’d like get an idea of what it’s all about. The site doesn’t give full access to non members...but there are some things you can still check out: https://www.bmwcca.org/

You are correct for manufacturer rebates like finance deal or loyalty. But this CCA is like those "mail-in-rebates" from back in the day that you submit after you purchase the product.

No, they send you a check. So if you want to use it to lower your payments, need to pay it yourself in your deal and the check effectively reimburses you.. the dealer doesn't have anything to do with the rebate check.

I find it very strange that BMW issues some checks within 2 weeks and others take months. If each has been approved by BMWCCA, it really doses not make sense to have such a disparity in the time required to issue the checks.

Annoying, yes. But strange? Not sure about that. Sounds typical of a process that requires some human interaction/review and likely subject to delays during busy times etc.

Well maybe odd is a better word- look at a couple of the posts above, new buyers submitted their rebates & received the check within 2 weeks, others still waiting after 2 months. I would assume they are taken in order received, so how do you explain? No matter how busy the earlier rebates should be processed first.

Ah, sorry, I misread. Didn't realize some were waiting 2 months while others that submitted later had already received their checks. Definitely odd, but still likely due to archaic processes. Snail mail, maybe something is done regionally... no idea.

Have those waiting that long called anyone to make sure there wasn't something off or missing with paperwork causing the hold up?
