Garage List
On Friday, we had some hotel representatives visit my job and left a plethora of cupcakes from Panera Bread in small boxes in the meeting/strip tease room. Low and behold only two remained until I took one, therefore, only one is left. Should I be the greedy bastard that I am and take the last one too?

On the one hand it's a flagship so it's hard for me to hate too much - it's a nice ass car.

on the other hand it's another ///Mposter.

Does this shit happen in LA a ton or something? I really don't see that around DC much.

Must be a Louisiana thing.

I was actually in Baton Rouge a few days ago to see some of the spring practices (unusual line of work). Next time i'm there i'll scope out this M badge trend.

It was humid like whoa. DC is humid but I felt like I was half underwater the second we got there. Oof.

Edit: Didn't realize you had moved back from LA. Good call. Personally, I never understood the appeal of living there.

I keep a curling iron at work because from the time I walk out of my front door and walk 20 feet to my car, my hair falls straight. Super annoying humidity. But the winters in the 40's with no humidity is a nice trade. Never have to purchase snow tires here.

I miss California sooooo much. I'd move back there in a heart beat, but I dont want to risk giving any custody or unsupervised visitation to my ex, so staying as far away as possible is the only way to ensure that for now

Yea I was scribbling notes on loose paper near the north stadium (weight room area) and the humidity literally soaked the paper. It was crazy, had never seen anything like that. It looked like I was writing with oil or something.

I won't pry regarding the personal matters but do whatever you gotta do for yourself and your kid! If that means leaving CA, so be it. And seriously, I never got the glamour of Los Angeles. So much of it seems fraudulent; feels like the entire city is living off debt. IDK maybe that's just my overly-negative impression of it. Bet you don't miss the traffic lol.

God, the traffic is awful. I'd have to drive through Hollywood to get home and crossing over Hollywood Blvd there's so much traffic even on a Wednesday night at 10pm! I lived in Los Angeles about 2 months before moving down to the beautiful Orange County. Newport Beach was so so so so nice. Gorgeous scenary. Orange County and Los Angeles County are night and day even though they border each other. Orange Co. is much more family oriented and a quieter pace.

Newport Beach/Laguna Niguel; no doubt that's a beautiful neck of the woods.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great place to spend some time relaxing. But living there? Eh, guess just not for me.

Granted I say this as someone whose daily commute is at least an hour. If i'm out in Ashburn it's even worse.

Any good food in the Baton Rouge area that wouldn't require a long sitdown? I'm there fairly often but don't know the area for squat outside of getting to Tiger Stadium directly from the airport . A shot in the dark...If you're in NOLA my bad!

LSU has a good football team.
Most of places I've worked at, we go by AP/BCS rank rather than education rank.

Smart employee: Hey boss, did you watch the LSU game? Congrats! It was a nice game boss!

Dumbass employee: Hey! Our Harvard beat Yale!
