Hi - does anyone have the technical document with instructions to replace the entire mirror (part package 1 and specific part number 11)? I did a good bit of damage backing into a gate!

You should check with a local reputable body shop. I had a friend do the same thing to his X3. Since it's covered under comprehensive coverage it was subject to a $500 deductible. He asked if he could get a quote without insurance as he didn't want to make a claim if it wasn't a lot more than his deductible. They agreed that they wouldn't submit it to insurance unless he told them to.

In the end, they found a used mirror (a new one was almost impossible to procure and cost twice as much), paint matched it and installed it for about $570. He skipped the insurance and just paid it. BTW, his didn't have all the sensors for DAP, PAP, etc. If you have all the options, the mirror is about $1k new. The bare bones version is still over $700.
