Way too excessive. My e92 M3 had 6 miles.

The car is set to shipping mode, so I would make sure it's not PDI'd and shipping mode turned off before they do all of that. Shipping mode turns limits the car to 60 MPH and sets a rev limit of 4,000 RPM. It also turns off a lot of the electronics.

Moment of honesty- had I known it would have taken close to 6 months (when I drive off), I wouldn't have got rid of my 2014 m6 and simply retrofitted the headlights/tail lights
