1. Currently on MY24, 8% should be the discount to shoot for in the NE region although specific areas can be lower. 2. Ultimate Care+ should be skipped as a person will likely end up getting a few sets of wipers for the $850. Most folks brakes will last 70 - 100k miles. 3. They marked up the APR, the base is 2.99%. Congratulations on your new X5. Good luck, enjoy and be safe.

The is the marked up BMW rate. The base is 3.49% for 72 months for MY24's.

I do see 2.99% on the website now (60Mos) and I assume 3.49% for 72mos. I got 4.5% so that means over the course of the loan if I dont make add'l payments I've paid the dealer about ~$1,800 more than if I had the best rate of 3.49%. So.... not a great deal (and thanks for letting me down easy) and I should have taken more time w/ the finance person to just look at the website and challenge them on why they said I dont qualify for that interest rate. |

Any thoughts on if the 4-8% off MSRP is realistic for MY25 new builds? Would any MY25 incentives come out at the end of the month or are they going to still focus on getting rid of 2024 stock? I was hoping to get in on end of cycle but nothing in our area fits what we want.

Purchased New 2024 50e PHEV in Texas
It has been hard to find any new 2024 50e at the moment but I was able to find one here in TX last week (luckily!). It was custom ordered by someone in Nov 2023 with the dealer with almost all of the packages available (fully loaded).
Vehicle was only built end of Feb 2024 and this person who custom ordered couldn't wait that long and bought another car so it was up for grabs at the dealership. I came across this accidentally and immediately called up the dealer and was able to grab it for 6% lower than MRSP when I assured them I would take the delivery same day (it was hardly at the dealership for 24hrs). Initial plan was to place a custom order for 2025 model but given that I was getting good pricing. I know "good pricing" is relative though and I am satisfied with the discount and pulled the trigger. Since its built late February, hope BMW has fixed most of the issues by now. Only regret being dealer has marked up APR to 3.99% (1% higher than whats advertised for) but couldn't get them to go lower on this. Anyways my family is enjoying the ride. |

Suggest you try a broker. You may have to travel to get it but it'll be a nice road trip home. Or arrange for PCD in Spartanburg.

In have not seen anything saying you can't make extra payments but you will want to verify. Of course it won't reduce the balloon payment.

Totally forgot to add when i was writing that original post the $7k includes taxes, dmv fees, first months payment! Not just taxes. I looked at the price breakdown and everything seems to be good no dealer fees or anything. I only got $2k off msrp plus $1500 off in military & loyalty credits but they just switched me over to a MY25 order for the same price. Definitely could've got more off if i put up a fight but all is said and done |

I just ordered a MY25 40i and got 7% off MSRP. Took some pushing and patience but got it, also a repeat customer at the dealer so that may have helped.

I'm going in next week to order and have 6% off already but will push for 7 to 8% as well as base rate due to our dealer does mark up. We qualify for the military discount but with not knowing what incentives and rates will be until April I'm not sure of the path we'll take yet as far as going outside or BMW finance. This also has me pondering the best path in asking for base rate as they may not give more off if they know I'm going outside finance because they make money on me staying with them. But if they won't do base rate then I definitely would like a percent or two more off. I would like to get both finalized if possible before I submit the order. It maybe hard to do on the rate part though.

Hi all....... back to get another X5x 4.0 for my wife. Did i read production for the 25 starts soon? Any big changes? Has anyone had a positive experience with a dealer in Utah, Idaho Oregon, Wash, or Montana? seems like 6 to 8% is the deal range. Where are we with % rates on a lease currently? Really dislike the dealership experience but if you want new you go to the trough..... Thank you BMW'ers

MY25 production starts April 1st and only differences from MY24 is that DAP now includes lane change by eye and the 552 headlights that were optional are now standard.

I have not asked about rates yet but will inquire. They quoted me a lease rate at $1,200/month with $5k up front for 10k miles/yr. Seems to indicate a pretty high MF so I may purchase outright, not sure yet, I suspect some better financing options to come in the next month as they roll out inventory of MY25 and spring time here in the Northeast.

I don’t see lease rates improving until the fall, that is when BMW NA via BMW FS “juices” the numbers to drive end of year sales. Fed is not forecasted to lower interest rates in the near future.

Should get a better idea by Wednesday but they were forecasted to cut rates three times this year but with the recent inflation reports that may go down to one or two, possibly none.
