Possibly Shipping blocks?

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
So I get a single tick noise whenever I turn the car left. It only happens when I turn the steering a little to the left but only one tick. I inspected the suspension nothing seemed loose except saw this and I'm thinking it is shipping block but might be wrong. It's the same on both sides. Going out on vacation so won't be able to take it to bmw until I'm back but let me know what y'all think? Thx

Hmm.
No idea on what can cause it.
But, that's not a shipping block.
That's just a spacer that BMW put.
