Hi,
I have a 2023 X5 50e M Sport and want to try install a roof box alongside 2 x bike carriers. Has anyone done this or does anyone know what combo might work?
I have looked at the Thule Motion XT Sport alongside 2 x Thule pro ride racks and it looks tight…
Any advice welcome. Doesn’t need to be Thule but I like Thule so would prefer this type of setup.
It would be for 2 adult mountain bikes.

Thule motion box + 2 bike rack??? I think you really need bars like wind bar evo, which extends beyond the roof rail to have a chance. No way all of these will fit between the rails.

I would say go to a retailer like REI. They can lay down the bars in floor, let you test fit what you want on it. Probably the only way to be sure.

Yes 2 bike racks plus a box. I was looking at the wind bars so hopefully someone can offer some guidance on what will or won’t work.

For anyone interested, an XT Motion Sport plus two Thule Pro Ride bike racks all fit on the X5. This is with Wingbar Evos (135cm), one facing forward and once facing backwards. It’s snug but fits well.
