22 X5MC Aftermarket Winter Wheels
Hi All,
Just picked up a 22 X5MC which came with PS4S which are horrible in this cold weather. I have gone through a lot of threads but seems like there is not much info other then oem winter setups. I'm looking for wheels suggestions and offsets for a square winter set in 20s. if Anyone has a set or has any experience would appreciate the help. I'm thinking 20x9.5 Et35 but then again wondering if I can go wider may 10s?

21’s seem to be the common size. I put a set of fronts on the rear with Michelin ps4s for our mild winters here. They work great. |

Went through the same thing just a couple weeks ago. Could not get the OEM winter packages as they were no longer available and some used packages fell through. Wound up going with Tire Rack. OZ Supertourismo Dakar, 20x10 square setup with 285/40-20 Perelli Scorpion Winter. Have been fine in the extreme cold we got here in PA recently. No real snow use yet.

Switching wheels shouldn’t affect the balancing of the wheels, I get them balanced when I get new tires mounted or if I ever feel some sort of vibration. But usually neither happens when I switch from summer to winter wheels, if they are already properly balanced.

It was more cost effective, narrower wheels and square setup is better for snow IMO and I can swap the wheels around (front to back) for more even wear.
