Has anyone been able to successfully activate Assisted Driving View on a pre-2020 G05 that didn't come with it enabled from the factory? I have a 2019 G05 fully equipped with DAP package, just no Assisted Driving View.

Found the below video and looking to try it, but would like confirmation if others have had success using Bimmercode to enable the feature as instructed here:

Yes, I did it using expert mode in Bimmercode. After testing it out, I didn't see any value in ADV so did not recode it after I had an upgrade.

Just substitute the esys bits for bimmercode expert mode

Thanks! Did you follow the same instructions outlined in the video?

Do you recall what iDrive version you were running at the time? Wondering if this method would have been blocked in 07/2020.xx, which I'm running.

No, I used the instructions that were in a thread but I'm sure they are the same as the video. If ifr is posting them then they will work. I was on 03/2019.xx I believe.

Yes. I've done it a few times. Most recently about an hour ago after upgrading to 07-2020. I used a thread I found on here. Let me see if I can find it. It's pretty straight forward. You just need expert mode.
