Production Begins does not mean that the vehicle is being assembled, it means that a VIN has been assigned and parts ordered/allocated. Actual assembly takes less than a day and will occur on your production day. You can use the F12 process ton find your production date.

Are there any factory tours?

This place must be amazing, all the capacity’s been added and still superb quality. . German quality in SC, it was hard to believe when they stated the plant .

BMW has done an Amazing job keeping quality high at all of their plants around the world.

Yes, they do factory tours. Not for April though.

i have been to the factory... truly fantastic to tour. their perfection rate is 99.5%... that means out of 1000 cars that go through QC, only 5 needed some sort of adjustment... i think it is highest in the industry for BMW

I just received the VIN on my 2024 X6 M60i Tanzanite Blue II / Tartufo / Carbon Fiber Trim fully loaded except for the B&W and massage seats. I have massage on my 2020 X6 M50i and it was more like a mild buzz on your back than a massage so it was no longer worth it to me.
