I have no idea how long its been there.......

those arent run-flats are they?

did the car tell you that you lost tire pressure? or did none come out.

what a bummer indeed.... lucky u werent driving fast and the tyre exploded or anything... ive seen that happen to a supra before.. not a pretty sight.

I don't have run-flats......and the car didn't tell me
anything. Malfunction tire pressure monitor?

A lot of the time nails, especially screws, get stuck in there real well and you won't lose any pressure. My boyrfriend says it happens all the time to the Audis where people come in with screws and nails complaining that their sensor didn't go off.

Yea usually when a screw or nail gets lodged in a position like that, you won't notice it for a very long time. Its more of a very very slow leak that goes on for a long time. Its no big deal really, just a pain to goto the tire store to fix it

The car only knows because of the revolutions when the tire dramatically loses pressure, not when it has been punctured.

That's an interesting point.... Since he is running such huge rims with such a low profile tire, I wonder if the monitor would be able notice a flat?
