Yesterday I went to the Electrify Expo which is touring the country.

Besides sitting in a Cypertruck I stopped by BMW. The had i4, i5 and i7 and a few others on display. As well as a X5 50e.

I remember TurtleBoy telling us not to trust what SA’s are trying to sell us. Didn’t know it would apply for BMW at an Expo as well …

I was a able to get a hold of someone from the BMW team to let them know that I thought this is embarrassing. She didn’t know details about the car.
She looked it up at on the internet and confirmed that the specs look wrong. She wanted to talk to Management. When I came back an hour later, at least the sign was gone and an empty display was shown.

It is a shame to say but generally all areas of BMW seem to not pay attention to details. This could be from marketing, website and vehicle software, support, etc. Thankfully at least it seems they generally do when it comes to the driver assistance software.
