Wow those are some healthy numbers!

Must be a massive difference before and after to drive lol

I would be careful with going for max output. There has been several M5 guys with tunes blowing their engines and they had to pay out of pocket to fix because BMW found out about the tune.

5 year warrantee, includes any issues, problems, reverting to stock, or OTA updates that might cancel the tune. All free.

1390 Euro after everything.

Not sure of performance times yet. Still trying to figure out which app is best for tgat.

Does the tune override the eco, comfort, and sport mode? So fuel consumption is always higher?

Actually.... I'm pretty sure fuel consumption is slightly lower across the board, under normal driving.

Not "significantly", but it definitely didn't hurt my fuel economy. All parameters are withing the stock ECU's capability, and it even still passes emissions.

Exhaust tips installed. Very happy with results.

Don't ask what the size was, the install was far more complicated than that. Instead, I'll refer you to this thread, that will answer all those questions:

https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...6#post26336836

In the meantime...... very happy how these came out

BR-P guys finally shared my dyno on their FB page.

Sharing here as well..... because everyone should follow these guys. Seriously, cannot say enough good things about them. They tune everything from Peugeot work vans.... to motorcycles..... to US and Euro spec cars.... to BMWs..... to Ferraris and Lamborghinis.

I guess after all these "mods".... it was finally time for a "repair", which isn't nearly as much fun. See..... here in Belgium we have little weasel/ferret-like critters called "Marders"...... that like to crawl up under your hood where it's warm, and then steal bits and pieces from your hoodliner to..... make a nest??? ...... eat??? ...... piss of American expats that love their cars???

Beats me..... but the local BMW dealer didn't seem very surprised. In fact, they got my wife's car as well. The difference.... is that I care.... she doesn't.

175 Euro (after crazy Belgian taxes) for a new hoodliner..... and a can of "anti-Marder" spray (yea...... that's actually a thing).... and we're off.

1. Remove chewed up hoodliner.
2. Spray liberally the new hoodliner with anti-Marder spray
3. Sniff hands and realize you now smell like urine.
4. Say hello to friendly Belgian neighbors who don't speak English.... but were nice enough to give expressions of pity that an animal ate my beautiful car.
5. Make wife smell my hands.... because it's funny.
6. Take pictures...
7. Go take shower..... because there's no way wife is coming near me tonight smelling like I do.

I forgot to respond to this question above.

I'm not sure what you mean by "override", but the car, and all of it's various performance settings are still 100% functional. It drives, shifts, and sounds 100% stock..... it's just much faster when you put your foot on the floor. Driving "normally", you would never notice a difference.

Regarding fuel economy. I've been driving on this tune for about 3 weeks now. Prior to that, I was averaging about 16-16.5 mpg overall (that's combined city and highway)

Now, I'm averaging 17-17.5 mpg. Not a "huge" difference at all.... but it is technically an improvement. It definitely isn't "worse" fuel economy at all.

I finally sold "Clownie" (named after it's close resemblance to a clown car). This was the $1000 POS I bought to drive, while I waited over 4 months for the M50i to arrive.

Just in case you thought my obsession was "only" with the M50i..... nope. I can't leave well enough alone. Who in their right mind would intentionally buy a $1000 POS to get them by, and then end up practically doing a restoration on a car that isn't worth the parts you put into it?

This guy.

Still.... it's part of the M50i story.... so I thought I'd share it here. I won't bore you with all the details of all the work I did on this car while I was waiting for the M50i to arrive.... but let's just say it was "considerable". The visible stuff is easy to see. It's the non-visible stuff that's harder to see.... like the entire suspension system - LOL

Off to a new owner. "Clownie"...... before and after

It's ok I guess. A bit too flashy for my taste.... at least for an SUV. Kinda has a "Formula 1" vibe with all the vertical slats. I think it would be better suited for a smaller sedan like a 2 or 3 series. Just my opinion though.
