Have PPF under crease of all doors as well as rockers and arches. No issues. Was starting to get chips after a few 100 miles so had it installed asap. I could hear the tires slinging up any road debris as they are like glue. (P Zero).
Idk if Michelins have the same issue. Wife has G05 with same dimension Pirellis on the 22” bmw wheels and zero chipping issue. Never hear stuff slinging against her car. The tire difference seems to be the ZR on the M and R on the G05. This is sticky M summer tire issue IMO. Things are like fly paper.

I had the P zero from Factory now on Michelin PS4S. I find the Michelins far worse for slinging grit.

I am the second owner of my own vehicle and the first owner had everything installed prior to delivery of her vehicle 75 year old woman owned my car before me and put very gentle miles on it. I literally had to break the car in! Long story short, the car has 70,000 miles it’s a 2017 the car is immaculate. It has complete PPF all over the entire vehicle. Not a single Nick scratch ding dent nothing except for these issues on the bottom corners of the doors it is because of a manufacturing flaw. The tires are too wide for the vehicle. Everybody will be experiencing this once they go up in mileage, especially in the summer and or winter.- sandier areas especially more and or any road with fine sand and or silt or dust - I will include pictures of the car washed tomorrow with as a matter of fact, let me see what I have currently- this is the bottom corner of this vehicle. I’ll include other pictures. The vehicle is truly flawless and is a gorgeous car. The only flaws it has is the slight road hitting the bottom part of the PPF that’s it and there is a tiny nick in the PPF by the front door which is actually buffable I kid you not PPF is waxable, and also polishable - let me know what you think thank you everyone good luck with everything any and all comments would be appreciated and I’m more of a stick together because this problem I think we will all be seeing especially up in the north east, and or the south or California Nevada also, OK I can rifle off 10 more but this is enough lol
