Now, if you had said that the KAFAS modules, cannot be coded with BimmerCode, I can agree with, that is for the camera and it's ability to keep the high beams longer in the presence of street light among a few other things. The camera has no bearing on whether the lights tunnel or not.

Without the one line of code for the KAFAS, I see the lights working as advertised and I clearly see a tunnel around the car in front and the left light moving outwardly with oncoming traffic and then dipping. When there are too many light the system deactivates and I have not seen a single time where the lights appear to blind anyone else. So while the sensitivity in the camera might be different, the code works. There is lots of lines to be changed and even posted code here is incomplete.
LOL - nice try buddy. What did you do, finally read what we have been posting and realize you were wrong? You could have saved yourself a lot of time and just listened to what we were saying to begin with - full function anti-dazzle can not be coded with Bimmercode. As far as bleeding is concerned, there is no doubt yours is doing it.

Go have fun with your lights. Just the fact that won't show the coding after repeatedly being asked for it by numerous folks shows you have no desire to contribute anything of value to the forum. Like others have been doing, time for me to just ignore your nonsense.

The nonsensical here is you. There is no bleeding. Again KAFAS code which is one line is for the camera sensitivity, but you don't know once again what you are talking about.

You are being ridiculous here.

There is no rational reason not to post verification of your successful coding... Other than the logical conclusion you are not being truthful. If you are being honest, you would have nothing to lose.

Ahhh look more insults.

No camera it's going to capture what the eye sees. I see what BMW advertised. And that is all!

I didn't do Anti Dazzle in my F30 because the physical hardware was missing (HID) and I would need ECE housings.

There is no physical hardware missing as these are matrix LED with the proper swivel and basically the same as ECE.

My archaic iPhone does not have the proper night CMOS to capture the lights in action. If you do not want to believe it, that is your choice.

Once again there are over 10 lines of parameters that need changing. The only changes one cannot do in BimmerCode is the camera sensitivity. Which when changed will keep the high beam on longer in roads with street lights. The code is here in the forums.

I will code the KAFAS with the laptop and see if I see any differences.

Just ignore him. He is likely using one of the faux anti-dazzle coding procedures that have been posted in various threads. This one is supposed to be very close to working but of course does not have the KAFAS capability and has not ben shown to not have some light leakage. Folks using it though seem to be happy with it and have not reported getting flashed from glaring others. Of course it is not the full functionality but does provide tunneling.

What are you 13? Why don't you wait until you mature a little bit and then you can join conversations. And don't even bother posting the supposedly missing lines now, you have zero credibility on this forum and likely no one will test what you post anyways. Thankfully people like you generally lose interest fairly quickly and we don't have to put up with them for long.

LOL What an imagination you have. Thanks for posting the code, perhaps if you would have done that to begin with people wouldn't think as bad about you as they do. We are here to help each other and to give information and quash bad information. It is pretty obvious you are not interested in helping folks but rather going on some type of power trip by having information you think no one else has (although they do). My advice would be to not think of yourself as someone special but rather as someone part of a community that helps each other, maybe you will get something out of it and enjoy it more. Take it easy and good luck.

Living in Canada, the dealer will enable anti-dazzle for you, and then, you won't have to deal with it again should you get an OTA update. Canada has allowed the Euro spec of anti-dazzle for over a year now as opposed to the way the US DOT finally decided.

Other auto manufacturers already offer their version of Anti-Dazzle in the US.

Curious if BMW adds this as a Connected Drive addition that is added through the app/web site with a one-time charge or subscription fee. Given they just added M Adaptive Suspension coding for 40i owners, it wouldn't surprise me to see this added as a paid software option.

In would guess there is zero chance of them adding it as a subscription. Given laser lights are going away they likely will not spend the time testing the to see if they meet the requirements. Currently there are no BMW lights that do so would imagine they would concentrate on the systems that are currently being offered. Then again, if it could make them money they may.

So when I visit Canada this summer can I ask a dealer there to code antidazzle to my US X5? I wonder if they'd be allowed to do it since mine is registered in the US.

They won't do it and likely are not allowed to. Many, if not most, of their dealers won't do it on Canadian vehicles from what people are reporting.

I had the this feature enabled and they worked amazingly. The only thing you need to be aware of you cannot do updates on the car anymore. Once you do an update, it resets it and you’ll have to call them back and pay them to redo it, so turn off, automatic updating for software on the car.

This is not 100% true. My Anti-Dazzle coding has stayed in place through 2 OTA updates.
