That is fine.
There are 2 cam sensors. Your circled red and what RaceChip "C" marked.
Either one work perfectly fine.

I'm also interested in hearing about any updates on the 45e post from earlier this year. Is the RaceChip confirmed compatible with 2022 45e? I don't see the 2022 X5 45e listed on the Dinan site either.

I don't see 2022 45e is any difference than the 2021 model.

I love hearing claims of all the development and research that went into RaceChip without a simple dyno chart. I'm definitely in the market of buying rainbows and sunshine.

Your best bet is to contact RaceChip HQ and try to get those information.
You are the first to request a product's R&D details in my 30+ years in the industry.
The most I've got is show me before and after result.
But, yea, as i said, your best bet is to get it from RaceChip HQ.

Sarcasm aside, would you happen to have some before and after 93 octane dyno charts of the x5 x40i with the GTS? Hell if I was selling a product that I believed in, its the least I would do to help persuade customers. How much additional boost does the most aggressive map produce over stock?

You may want to ask them directly.

Best on the amount of RaceChip that I've been selling, no persuasion needed.

I have customers that have been using it on their F15 X5 to their other BMWs.

just ordered RC Black for my M50i. Will write up a review once I've got it installed. I'm just looking for some added power when I want it for my daily driving. Don't anticipate having it in race/aggressive settings that often unless I'm making a run to pick up pizza for the kids

set it to 7.

make sure gas stations are about 400ft apart everywhere you go.

I may be exaggerating... a little?

I love how setting it on eco or the middle one (1 and 3 respectively) results in stock or better mpg but turning it to full boil nosedives it, hilariously. Meanwhile, I'm leaving it in sport until my next longer trip

How long have you been running it? M50i?

x7 m50i, and I've had it for... about 1.5yr? It went on as of the first sale they had after I bought my car. The mileage isn't -that- bad, but with it turned all the way up, it's noticeably more fun to bury my foot

Do the HP/Torque and Boost gauges change at all based on the level you selected?
