Who did the reflector delete for you?

I watched the IND instructional video and reflector delete seemed way more complicated that I thought it would be. I guess accessing them is the hard part?

Not that hard.
Done many of them already.
Easier than F85/F86 X5M/X6M.

Dealer installed reflectors. I just didn't have the tools to take wheels off at home. They charged me $100 which I thought was fair.

Certainly not as easy as it was for my E46 and E90 M3's where all you needed was a flathead screwdriver to pop off reflector and snap in painted one lol!

I did it on mine. It was a pain. I think it took about 2.5 hours to do them. If I had a lift, I'm sure I could've done it quicker.

Oh yea. X cars all have rivets, that's an extra step.

Wow, only took me 30 minutes. 1 hour the most if double sided tape doesn't want to come off clean.

no need to remove the wheel.. on x6m the overfenders are now using regular pop on/off clips (same stuff you find in the interior holding door panel etc).. once you get that off, loosen all front 8mm screws.. and you will also need to remove one rivet that holds the adapter onto which over fenders bolt up to.. once that adapter is loose you can heat it up reflector and pop it off.. i just did mine on the ground with no issues to be safe you should buy 4 replacement rivets to be able to put that adapter back on onto which your over fenders will pop on. Part # 07-14-9-140-786

Wow... good to know. I'll need to do mine in 1-2 weeks. Would you mind sending more details / explanations and pictures as you do the other one ? This would help me a lot!

I’ll create a short post as to how I changed mine on the floor and provide some pics.. for those who don’t want to jack up the car, remove wheel and entire fender liner.. I did mine in about 45 min with the right tools

That pic was taken 5 mins after the car pulled out of garage. 10 mins later the car looked very different...lol.
In terms of summer tires in the snow, I haven't driven in the actual snow I guess. Most of the roads/highways are cleaned up so I haven't had any issues

Is that a matte wrap or a color change wrap?

Driving in snow is one thing, but AwesomeM3 probably also wants to know about how the tires handle in the cold. Summer tires lose their performance capabilities in temps below 45degrees as the rubber compound can get too hard; equivalent of driving on hockey pucks.

It's Xpel Stealth wrap on stock MBB color.
As far as tires, it's been snowing here in NY every couple of days feels like. I drive about 60-100 miles each day and so far have no complains regarding performance despite the cold temps.
