Activating Launch Control

hey guys,
I have a '22 X5M and I am struggling to activate launch control all of a sudden. I have all the right settings on my M2 button: traction control off, S3, etc. but nothing happens. I know it does work on the car having launched it 15 or so times since I have owned it but all of a sudden it's not working. Any one with similar experience or have any ideas?

On our 22 we have to have the settings correct like you mentioned and hold the brake down VERY HARD. Then SNAP the accelerator pedal down VERY FAST. Or it will not activate.

Tried that and it still doesn't activate. So strange. Only thing that's changed is a regular software update but I can't imagine that would be the cause

Wasn't there a maximum allowed number of such launches over the car's lifetime?

I configure M1 with DSC OFF, Engine Sport Plus, Suspension Sport Plus and Shifting S3...also I put M Mode when I do those launches the button which changes also remember your engine needs to be in operational temp...not too hot after many launches or cold.

Then you stop and push brake very hard first with left leg then full throttle fast with right leg...you see the flag release brake and here you go.

Second the comments above. Issues activating when all settings are correct are almost always related to not pushing and holding brake firmly as far as it will go. It takes a second for it to settle at the lowest position. Then, smash accelerator to the floor, past the kickdown switch. After a second of both pedals held down firmly the "prepating lc" notice will appear, this changes to "ready to launch" another second later.
