BMX X5 45e Allocations

Hi Folks. I'm #3 in line with my local dealer here in Northern VA for a X5 45e allocation. However, I just saw the 2023 pricing information and am concerned that Drive Assistant Pro will not be available until 12/22 in the 2023 model year. Therefore, I'm hoping to find a dealer that has a 2022 X5 45e allocation available. Happy to travel anywhere across the states for one. Anyone have any insight into dealers that have a X5 45e allocation?

They are very hard to come by especially since many dealers will only sell locally and not to those out of the area. Probably best to use start contacting dealers moving outward from your area. Also make sure to contact BMW of Reading since many folks have gotten good deals and quick locations from them.

Depending on the size of your dealer you hopefully will get a July allocation.

Does the size (volume of cars sold) matter? More allocations to high volume dealers? It makes sense

Yes, BMWNA uses a formula to determine the allocations and sales volume is a big factor in that.

Hopefully they were joking around with you and aren't actually that clueless about the packages.

If you don’t mind, which region is your dealer located?

Just passed on my 22 allocation.
- no exec package
- no luxury seating package.

I will hold for a 23, even if it means December+ for the DAP.

Do you know why no luxury seating? I just read the other day that BMW and Mercedes are back to normal production.

Disabled until supply reverts back to normal. That is directly from BMW

Why is there a markup for out-of-state customers?
