Definitely the best looking front lip design for the G05! I like that it doesn't add another "horizontal" line to the lower part of the front bumper!! Nice!!!

I purchased with IND and paintes in CB. In my opinion, the paint layer is a bit soft and chips off easily. The color was 100%

Hope it helps

I have no chips. hmmm Ind painted my lip and put ceramic coating on it. Still very clean and solid currently.

Ceramic coating doesn't help to prevent chips or any surface damage.

Yep! Best to PPF if you want to avoid this. Once I get my lip in I plan to PPF it as well.

Did you guys use the self tapping screws that the manual suggests? It's a couple screws that goes behind the wheel well. 1Mors Merciless58 Abounthanthy

I ended up getting mine and put it on my front bumper which already has PPF. Fits like a glove and was a little tricky pulling it to the side where it goes behind the wheel well or behind the bumper, but it's on there now! Fitment is flush and super snug -- not sure if it's because it's being fitted over the existing PPF that I already have on there. I've only used the tape that comes with it so far and want to know if you guys ended up using the screws the lip came with, or only used the double sided tape.

Thanks guys, I appreciate you confirming. I was initially just going to use the tape and I also augmented it with additional stickier tape to secure it as well as putting some that fastens to the back of the wheel well. It was pretty secure and definitely not going anywhere, so I'm debating on whether or not I still need to use the screws since it taps into the back of the bumper.

For those of you that installed it yourself:
Roughly how long did it take?
Do I need a lift?
Can it be done solo?

Debating on having dealer do it or knocking it out myself, depending how labor intensive it is.

Thank you!

Well, called my local dealer in PA, and they said they can’t help and don’t feel comfortable installing this. Any recs on a shop in Philly suburbs that would install this?

Or is it easy enough to tackle myself?

you can totally do it yourself. can use books or a pieces of wood etc to prop up one side while you work on the other. because of how it’s designed to rest on the lower bumper air scoops, it’s an easy install

Easy enough but you need to put some effort into fitting it over the air scoops and as it hugs the inside of the fender. Fits like a glove!

Thanks guys. Got it installed. And looks great. One final question, where do the 2 screws go? In the pre drilled holes by the wheel well? Or should I be drilling holes underneath the middle of splitter to screw into that bumper?

The screws go into the pre-drilled location by the wheel well. One on each side.

Can I ask what the "3D Design Carbon Under Splitter Set" is? I want to order the IND lip as well. Just not sure what that option entails.

If you look at my first post on this thread you will see the carbon fibre under splitters (flippers) on the 3d design splitter. Without the purchase of the under splitter you would only get the splitter and not the carbon fibre addon.

Got it. Now I'm even more on the fence. Can't decide if I like it more with those.
