2019 BMW X5 lease return

I am thinking of purchasing a 2019 X5 xDrive35i lease return. I saw one with the M package and 18K miles for $57K, original MSRP was $72K. Wanted to see if someone knows what is usually the payoff amount on these lease returns? I am looking for a range or ballpark, I understand they differ based on the car. Thanks

They didn't make the xDrive35i in 2019. Once you find out the model year then your best bet would be looking at KBB, Edmunds, etc. for current values. The original lease residual value would have little bearing on the current value.

Sorry, I made a typo, it is the xDrive40i. I agree KBB is a good indicator, but knowing the lease buyout price will let me know what room I have for negotiation.

Actually that would not give you any idea about the room for negotiation. That is the buyout for the lessee and not the price the dealer would get it for. Either way, in this market you have zero, or really close to it, room for negotiation.

As an example, I just bought a 2019 with 19,256 miles for $61,900. The original MSRP was $82,020.

2019 X5 99.5K MSRP

My residual will be $57,500 in May. I am going to buy it though.
