No vehicle or audio option to go on...but do you have the B&W audio system (option code S6F1A if you've decoded your VIN)...and are there 4 of them mounted in the ceiling in the approximate locations shown in the diagram illustration below?

For some reason BMW designers have seemed to engineered the upgrade audio system speaker grille covers to contrast/stand-out next to the trim around them instead of blending in.

On some models...the B&W speaker grills that are metallic in color have been dubbed "cheese graters".

Maybe BMW ought to have an option for color-matching for those who want to "de-badge" their $4,000 audio upgrade.

you can turn off the lighting effects for the B&W speakers in the audio settings menu. I, however, have the lights inside the speaker cranked up so I can see where all the money went

Lighting effects sound cool.

Regarding the color, I prefer upgraded sound systems to stand out because they sound awesome, not because the speakers are a different color than the rest of the ceiling....
