Quick Change Rear Spring Kit for M3 1M
Change rear spings seconds, without disconnecting the lower control arm or dampers and without performing another wheel alignment as long as the ride height remains the same.
This kit not only allows you to change your springs very quickly, it also allows you to adjust the ride height of the vehicle with the springs installed. YES! With the springs installed. No need to remove the springs! Most E82/9X none M or M coilover kits on the market today, you must unload the spring tension to adjust the rear ride height or use spanner wrenches, but not ours! This kit will work with oem or aftermarket rear dampers. What is in the kit: HPA Rear Ride Height Adjusters(Hard anodized) BMW Sealed Radial Thrust Bearings(used on the top of the main spring) Swift Main(your choice of rates) and Helper springs(with couplers) Swift Thrust Sheets(use at the lower portion of the spring, between the helper and the control arm) $579.95 Order here: http://www.hpashop.com/product.sc?pr...categoryId=174 We are located in Santa Barbara, CA but we ship worldwide and have many satisfied customers around the globe. Please shoot us an email or give us a call and we are more than happy to help you. Last edited by HP Autosport; 10-21-2011 at 04:08 PM.. |

AST 4200 with Swift main and helper springs
These are properly stacked with the tallest main spring possible to provide the most stroke. Some spring rate spiking is also reduced with this setup.
BMW radial thrust bearings(top) and Swift thrust sheets(bottom) are used so corner balancing is possible even with the full weight of the vehicle on the tires. This is exclusively from HP Autowerks, Inc. No other rear coilover spring setup offers you this function. Period! I am sure others will copy this soon...Some have tried and failed(you know who you are!). Last edited by HP Autosport; 10-20-2011 at 11:30 PM.. |

Interesting. Is there not a full front and rear kit? Seems odd to just offer the rear setup.

That may be true, but I've never heard of offering half a coilover kit. It doesn't have to be quick change but you would think they would have a full front and rear setup that goes together.

I don't understand.. This thread is for a quick spring change kit, not for a coilover set...

Yes, it is not a coilover, my bad with the phrasing, but they are providing new rear springs. One would think they would offer some sort of spring set for the front along with it.

Front setup would have way too many variations. AST, Bilstein, JRZ, Koni, KW, Moton, Ohlins....60 or 65 mm springs, stock or camber plates, spring lengths and etc. This is for the track or even street guys who likes to tinker with spring rates and already own a coilover kit. The front is easy swap already with a coilover and there has never been easy solution for the rear until we developed this. |

Hey Harold, can this kit be ordered without the springs? I already have a pair of 600 lbf/in 60 mm springs but would like to add the quick change features. I'm assuming you have a preferred spring length - if you want a ride height adjustment range of ~0.5-1.5" below stock (zcp) what spring length is required? I don't remember the exact length of the rear spring that I have but I can measure its length. Thanks.

This kit was developed by HP Autowerks to allow quick and easy track side rear spring changes when HP competed in Redline Time Attack. Your rear alignment will not change as long as you keep the ride height the same.

Thanks all for the interest in our quick change spring kit. We are currently waiting for a new batch of our height adjusters to be finished(hopefully at a lower price so we can pass the saving on to you). As soon as that is done orders will be shopped right away.
