Hi guys,
any one have M performance parts installed on their LCI X5M?
The only part i've seen is the rear spoiler - other parts are mainly for X5M60i / X5 40i.

Yeah there is. I have the CF gas cap, CF rear diffuser, CF kidney grill and CF/Titan exhaust. There is also a CF antenna cover, CF side mirror caps CF side vent trim and CF leather or CF alcantara steering wheel.

Have you noticed any exhaust sound difference after installing new exhaust pipes ?

So all these parts with the exception of the CF gas cap actually came factory installed. They are all listed on the window sticker of the build, so I can't say for certain if the sound is different. I can say coming from a 21 X5MC there is a bit of a sound difference and I'm not sure if that is do to the CF/Titanium exhaust pipes. The 24 has bit deeper of a raspy burble and crackle then the 21 when you let off the throttle and the RPMs drop. It's not night and day, but is noticeable. Also when you accelerate there is more of a high pitch whine on the top end of the RPM. This is like a 10-15% difference in sound. It could be the new S68 with the electric motor that I'm hearing that higher whine from. If you get it. I'd say it's more for looks than sound. If you want sound there are many other things you can do that will get you a better result. They are just not for me. I'm more of a purist and only like official BMW OEM parts on my vehicles. Outside of say window tint and brake pads.

The steering wheel i've seen however I'm surprised not many people have m performance parts installed.
