Summer Wheels

Welp, I was going to wait for a nicer day to test the new shoes but Iowa winters suck and I'm not patient enough. Don't mind the salt/dirt, I swear I hand wash this thing once a week

Big thanks to Eddie over at modsomethingsinceicantwriteitoutforsomereason for the outstanding CS.

Looks good. I almost pulled a trigger in a set of bcforged as my winter wheels.

Is your front tire size right? 295/30/22 would be the correct size it you want to keep the stock rolling diameter.

Offsets are also pretty conservative too.

Nice rims...i prefer black ones on a black car but these are also OK.

Thanks!
285 is correct. I'm at a -1.7% stock is +1%. difference in rolling diameter. 295/30/22 would be worse since I went from a 21 to 22. Still admittedly a bit high in difference but we'll see how it goes come summer lol.
Offsets I just wanted flush/no poke.

I personally don't like black wheels on a black car, all comes down to preference, bit more metallic would have been preferable but my first choice in wheels was like 12k for the whole setup.

Hmm 295/30/22 and 315/30/22 has a variance is 1.4% which is a better match.

285/35/22 and 315/30/22 has a variance of 1.7%

Like you said stock is 1% .... hopefully the xdrive doesn’t freak out with the change. What stinks is that Michelin PS4S doesnt come in 295/30/22 which is my dilemma. I’m forced to go back to Pirelli PZeros which has that size or run mismatch Michelin PSS up front with PS4S in the back. Thread design is very similar but there are sidewall design differences.

Oh I'm dumb I was entering 295/35/22. Apologies, you're correct, 295/30/22 for sure if it's available.

Been waiting on these things so long but that was the same dilemma I had, mismatch PSS and PS4S. Seen so many negative opinions on the Pirellis I didn't want to go back to them. If I do have issues I'll just have to throw the winters back on until I can get some PSS.

Well apparently my links broke. Anyways, finally threw them on, 22s all around definitely make the front gap look smaller. Also one thing that wasn't taken into account was stretch, comes out to 1.4% difference I believe.

Are those whitewall tires? Or just the lighting.

Mounting compound I believe, tires are ps4s, they need a good scrubbing.

Looking good! MSS would make it looks even better!

Any issues with the changed rolling diameter ratio under hard acceleration or braking?

I hated doing it but I ended up ordering the Pirelli PZ4 (alp) in 295/30/22 for my summer setup to make sure the electronics and center diff stays happy.

Honestly I'm not too worried about the difference, no issues so far given the small sample size. ~10 wot runs, only moderate braking though.

I've really been debating it, more interested in non-adjustable though; once it's on I'm never going to mess with it again. I'm probably the very small minority but I do like the look of it as is, just not sure if it's more than lowered. I already got my low rider

Needs smaller wheel gap 1000% otherwise, great wheels.
