Victor has been at Peter Pan way before 2006. When I ordered my e46 European in 2003 , he was already famous in Cantonese community. If I have to guess, probably since 1996. 😅

The entire timeline is as follows:

6/17/2022 The order was entered for the My2023 on

7/18/2022 Received VIN (status 150) scheduled for Week 31

7/26/2022 Production date 2022-08-02 switched to 2022-07-30

7/29/22 status 153 - Entering Assembly Line
7/29/22 status 155 - Quality Check
7/30/22 status 182 - Handover to Carrier
8/7/22 status 190 - Dispatched from AG
8/12/22 status 193 - Arrived at Port of exit
8/12/22 status 195 - In transit
8/31/22 status 193 - Arrived at Port of exit (Richmond, CA)

9/2/22 Called Genius, said “Released for pickup” - waiting for truck. Estimate pickup 9/5/22

9/3/22 status 198 - At the dealership

9/4/22 Texted dealer and they said they need to schedule the delivery pre inspection which should be done in about 2 days.

Picked up 9/10/2022

Pick up was good. No high pressure sales of anything. The Finance person explained the warranties, service contracts, wheel and rim stuff but I wasn't ready to commit to any of that before researching other options. I signed the contract, wrote a cheque for the down payment and that was it.

There was some glue from the protective sheets that had to be removed and some other stuff on the hood and they buffed all that out. The CA helped me connect my phone showed me some of the important things and away I went.

The whole process took about 2.5 hours.

Overall, a great experience!
Thanks for all the details and pictures!

Your car looks a lot like what I ordered so I'm excited. I'm going in tomorrow to get the car and want to minimize time in the dealership (mostly to avoid germs since our family is a revolving door of illness this winter...).

So what specifically were the things they offer and are any of them worth considering to pay for?

Also, what was the out of door price vs MSRP? What realistically can I negotiate to?
