FINALLY! A Double-End Tailpipe Set for the smaller engines 30i/d 40i/d 45e etc.

Hi,

I found this kit and I like how it's changing the look of the vehicle.

CARGRAPHIC Double-End Tailpipe Set
2x 100mm round, rolled in, slash cut with perforated insert
for:
- BMW X5 xDrive 30i G05
- BMW X5 xDrive 40i G05
- BMW X5 xDrive 45e G05
For vehicles with M-Sport exterior package

Also another for diesel seems to be available.

I will order this later on and comeback with more feedback.

Installation is easy
The factory tailpipe insert is taken off the rear valance and the original outlets from the silencer need to be cut off - they are replaced by our tailpipe carrier with two outlets each side for our CARGRAPHIC tailpipe trims.

Nice find!

Wish you didn't have to cut the original exhaust though...

Yeah thanks, Google like a fool to find It 😂

Yes I agree but also the only way to make it fit with dual I think.
I have thought about how to do It myself but nothing that can make a adapter work. The original pipe is oval and a strange size at the end so nothing seems to fit out of a box.

this changes the look, but does it change anything else? sound? power? or merely aesthetics?

Probably nothing else than the look of the car will change.

If you after more power then you have to do a Cat replacement and add a performance exhaust.
Probably cheaper and more efficient to just do a Chiptuning.

I agree with you! Found another one for 25k 😜

Thinking about letting Feritta here in Sweden just build them for me instead. Like 5k they say

So I inquired about them already for my M50i and this is what they emailed me!

Dear Customer

Thank you for your message and your interest. Unfortunately the CARGRAPHIC tips will not fit BMW X5 with 8-cylinder petrol engines.
These models already have two outlet pipes per side but are not able to be connected with our tailpipe trims.

As soon as we have some exhaust upgrades for the BMW X5 M50i, we will upload it on our website.

Thanks and all the best

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best Regards

Am I crazy or is this stupidly expensive for just a pair of tips? That said, I really do want the look. Can I go to an exhaust shop and have them fabricate something like this, or will they look at me like I’m a lunatic?

Couldn't you just clamp an Aliexpress dual set onto the end of the existing single pipe?
