Just replaced the tires on mine at 14k miles. fronts were slightly more worn than rears. I believe it was 4/32 fronts and 5/32 rears. I realize that I could've pulled another 1K miles or so but I was starting to notice slight wiggles (movement side to side) in rain.

TBH, I thought the tires should've lasted 18k miles or so but I guess 14k wasn't too bad. Oh and tires are expensive for some reason, paid about $2900 with 4 wheel alignment at the dealership. Discount tire wasn't too far off on prices but rears were on back order and dealership had them in stock.

That is about what I get in my F80 mileage wise. But there are more options in the 19 inch club versus the 21/22.

Its ridiculous to have limited options such as these.

Honestly I would just stick with PS4s year round unless you live in snow states. Prices are probably this high because of lack of options.

Live in Maryland. Have no choice but to swap unless I want to end up in a ditch.

Oh yeah. Absolutely. I learned very quickly in my younger days driving on summer tires in Chicago winter

I feel ya bro! I am going with 22" custom offset with dedicated performance all seasons for spring/summer/fall and leaving the stock wheels wrapped in winter treads for the winter.

This was expensive, but I think it will pay off in pure convenience overtime.

I originally wanted AS tires, but none can be found, and of course I can go replace them with another set of PS4s, but want something with longevity. At this rate, my tires will be done at around 5k miles.

Any thoughts? I'm on the stock 21/22 setup.

For those that has already replaced their F95/96 tires, what did you go with?
This sounds normal to me - our stock 21 tires are 220 wearing - that wears faster than most summer performance tires for sedan / couple (~300). At a reference - all season tires are 400-600 range. At 5000 lb weight, we are 1000 pound heavier than cars

On a sedan I replace around PSS/PS4S 18k miles (because of aging, 4-6k miles a year, that's year 4).

If you drive spirit fully, 6K mile wears down a half is not too bad - 220 tire on a mid size SUV.

Personally I love cars more than SUV for their handling, these 11-12" wide tires give me a bit more incentive to drive wife's x5.

2500 dollar every 2 years well worth it (tire, tax, mounting, balancing, disposal).

Cheers.

Incorrect - the PS4S that came OEM on the X5M is 300TW rating, not 220.

To close this thread, I got exactly 8K miles on a set of PS4S on my 2022 X5M. All 4 tires were done 3/32 at 8K miles. This is mainly daily driving and a few spirited runs in the mountains.

The factory michelins are great tires and I have had them on my corvette. The problem is the X5 is fat and heavy which means they will wear out much faster than on a corvette.
