Wiper Blades?
Other than OEM blades available from a dealer what brand/model blades have you found to provide good performance? I think the OEM blades are Bosch, is this correct? Thanks in advance.

BMW uses Bosch on the current X5s. I've also seen them use Valeo.
For the pair I got Bosch AeroTwin A 088 S. That includes 20" and 26" blades. When I ordered my last set, stock was hit or miss. You can compare prices with some of the online BMW dealer's parts department. getbmwparts.com

I use RainX Expert Fit Beam B-26-2 and B-20-2 for the windshield and OEM Rear part # 61627442093.
The RainX wipers are available just about everywhere and the OEM rear is available online. |

Edit - is it A351H? Hey all,
Anyone have the part number for Bosch Icon rear X5 G05? Interestingly enough I went to Bosch site and put my 2021 X5 in as the car and it said it has no wipers that fit my X5. Anyway, TIA. Last edited by Edubya; 03-27-2024 at 11:04 PM.. Reason: Adding pic |

Been using RainX wipers for as long as I remember, but others are presenting good choices too.

I’ve never used Bosch ICON for the rear wiper as a part has never popped up in my searches over the past 3 years. I’ve only purchased the front wipers

There isn't a Bosch Icon for the rear, just the "standard" Bosch A351H. I have 2 spares to back up the new one I put on a few months ago.

Aerotwins are great. I personally don't think those expensive bosch wipers are worth it. I use
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Works fine for 6+ months in new england weather. I change them about twice a year. Also, the OEM wiper that came with the car was garbage. It streaked on day 1 and I had to change them out after 3 months. |

I have been using BMW wiper blades on my X7. I live in the Pacific Northwest where it rains all the time. The BMW wiper blades last over a year with no streaking or chattering whatsoever.
I recently decided to give the Bosch Icon's a try and so far they are on par with BMW wiper blades. My understanding is that BMW uses rebranded Bosch blades. One caveat on the Bosch is that the connecting mechanism on the wiper blade is fatter and sits higher. So, when the wiper is in it's lowest (not standby position but position when the car is turned off) the connector sticks up slightly and can be seen from the driver's position. I don't have this problem with the stock wiper blades. |

I wanna say I had the same problem with the NAPA website. Their loss, I went to an O'Reilly's.
