I think I may have screwed up with my purchase, I just changed from a 2013 3.5i Premium to a 2020 X5 40i (no third row seating). I tow an enclosed trailer allot and apparently did not research the suspension options enough before purchasing. Well it is apparent I do not have self leveling suspension in the 2020. I have spoken to a couple shops and they say there is no way to upgrade to the rear axle self leveling suspension. They may be right, but, just hoping there might be some option available.

Maybe even a third party airbag?

It's most likely possible to purchase all the factory parts and code it, but it will cost several thousands of dollars. Not worth the hassle in my opinion. If you really think you need it that bad, better off finding one ( not going to be easy) and trading yours in.
