My surround view front camera was hit by a rock and the lens is damaged. The camera still functions, but the image is distorted from the cracked lens.

Has any repaired or replaced their front camera?

I had a massive bug splatter the front camera a couple of days ago (well, it looked massive on the screen :-). But yours is worse. Following ...

Can’t be big deal swapping it out from the grille. I unplugged mine easily when swapping grilles.

The part will still cost a few hundred dollars though. At least you won't have to pay for labor.

This happened to a guy in an Audi Q7 forum I followed years ago. I don't remember the exact cost, but it wasn't pretty.

Yup. I know how to replace the camera. I was hoping for a repair option but it's not looking hopeful.

The cheapest I have found the camera is around $400 delivered.

I may try a windshield repair kit and see if the resin will fill the crack in the lens. I figure I have nothing to lose.
