Long time, first time.
Ordered a 2021 M Sport in Phytonic Blue over Coffee Vernasca for PCD intentionally delayed until December when my current lease is over. I sent my build code to ~6-9 dealers in the region looking for 10% off MSRP before incentives. Most dealers were only willing to do 5% off MSRP or didn’t respond at all. BMW of West St Louis was able to do the 10% on their initial reply so I was thrilled. Now the wait! Build details: XDrive40i Phytonic Blue Coffee Vernasca Leather Anthracite Brown Poplar Trim M Sport Package Premium Package Luxury Seating Package Parking Assistance Package M Sport Brakes w/ Blue Calipers Front & Rear Heated Seats Heated Steering Wheel & Arm rest Rear Window Shades Trailer Hitch Space Saver Spare |

I got 0.9% but I hear that you have to be a prior BMWNA finance customer. Not sure how true that is. Plus $1000 loyalty credit and $2500 finance credit.

Also, dealers should have more wiggle room on a custom build as they don't need to pay for the tax/insurance on the car while it sits on the lot. |

This is a nice deal based on what I have seen recently. I will soon be in the market for one of these (spec'ed to roughly your $77k) and live in the Boston area. What dealer did you ultimately go with and did you work with Herb Chambers (Boston)? I have a long standing relationship with a CA there, but recent communications indicate they may not be willing to 'play ball' like in days past.

It was for financing. Yes did the paperwork to lock in price, incentives, and financing rate the day of the order. |

Finally got serious after 2 years of wanting. I had made the mistake of test driving a BMW X5 2 years ago and was sold. I had thought i wanted the Q7, but the drive sold me hook line and sinker. I just order last Monday a 2021 Xdrive 40i Premium build, Mineral White, Cognac, running boards, hitch and backup assist. like others I had a local dealer offering around 4-5 % (total discount). My final build came in at $70,445 msrp. I like others, sent out my build to 8 dealers in the Midwest. Along with the best pricing before incentives about 9%) I went back to the local dealer and they beat it. Some additional negotiation and the APR Cred improving Sept 1, I ended up at at 13.8% discount including incentives. I felt pretty good about that pricing.
This will be my first BMW. Watching the build progress about every 15 minutes. It started production last Friday, but hasn't moved from that phase yet. I am already with my Ethos Graphene Coating and Car Pro leather ceramic to take a day or two off work when she arrives to do light polish to the outside coatings inside and out. |
