First post here but long time lurker. I didnt want to say anything until I get confimation. But today i went into status 150 and CCP is still showing on my build. I know it doesnt show up on configurator today so ymmv. I dont really care for ventilated seats, but i really wanted 4zone. Below is my listed timeline.

1st week of Dec 4zone showed up on configurator, talked to dealer and they say they cannot order it. Says its a configurator mistake.

2nd week of Dec order is submitted for xdrive40i, dealer called bmw and confirmed that they are able to add CCP.

Dec 19 went into status 112, ccp was listed.

Jan 4 today i went into status 150, ccp is still listed.confirmed via build list, order sheet, and f12 trick. All info are matching and stayed the same since placing order.

Question #1 - From my understanding, once I go into status 150, my build is pretty much set right? Meaning all items listed is guaranteed to be there? Production date is set for week 3 (jan 20).

Question #2 - if production date is jan 20, when can i expect the car to show up at the dealer? Location is south east, about 6hrs from south carolina.

Looking forward to sharing pics with you guys instead of just looking.

TLDR - CCP doesnt show in configurator, but dealer was able to add it in manually.

Welcome to the forum.

1. Nothing is guaranteed but except for some very rare circumstances once yoiu hit 150 everything is set.

2. Assuming there are no delays in QC or getting a carrier you should get it in a day or two. That said, we have seen carrier delays more often than not so you may have to add a few days.

Would I or the dealer be notified if something changes in the build? Or do I need to keep tracking it online (using f12)? I am 150 already.

No they will not be notified. Like I said, it is very rare for it to happen. The last time was a few years ago when the touchscreens were deleted. You should be fine.

You're saying you have the Climate Package (with ventilated seats) on your incoming US market LCI 40i? That's a very surprise, thought that was no longer offered on the 40s and the configurator has not been updated to say otherwise.

Yes, that is correct. The 4zone is available in configurator but for some reason my dealer said it cant be added. Good thing they were able to manually add the whole package instead. I really only wanted the 4zone, thinking that the ventilated seats will make my seats less comfortable. But if thats the only choice I have to get 4zone then I guess im rolling with it. Plus it only increased my build for $100. So i guess I ended up paying $100 to get ventilated seats.

It is been available every off and on for awhile now. It really is just a mater of luck as to the timing as far as being able to order it.
