Another Week 46 build
I have a "prodDate": "2023-11-14"
But it's interesting / worrying that my garage shows: "Track Status: Production begins 2024" |

Count me as another one showing an 11/14 production date. Although, reading the other threads for earlier weeks, it seems that a lot of these end up and are ahead of schedule by a few days.

This morning my X5 status went to 153 and is on the assembly line. The production date went from 11-4 now showing 11-6. Does this make sense? The car is being assembled today, why did the production date move to 11-6? Thanks

"prodDate": "2023-11-13",
Hello fellow WK46er's
Totally impressed with the level of knowledge here..my dealer has NOT educated me at all about how to track my order. I got a phone call with my VIN and a printout when the order was placed. This may be typical behavior for them. WK46 (I believe) here..subject line is the data element I am pulling from. If I'm incorrect, please let me know. Before thanksgiving??? I'd be so happy. It's been a long couple of months now returning to the office full time after working from home during Covid. Last edited by Aircooled; 11-05-2023 at 11:20 AM.. |

No waiting is necessary, you can apply it after taking delivery.

This is pretty normal. The timeline is that the car changes to ready for production approximately 14 days prior to its production date. Usually around day 10-12 after the change you start to see action, it only takes a day or two to complete the build. Unless they move people who are early in week 46 up, my guess is that we won't see any changes until later this upcoming week.

Week 46 (Nov13) but still in "Scheduled for Production". Forum members have indicated that the status will change to "Production begins" 10 days before the scheduled week. Should I be worried ?
