22" w/ DHP X50i Harsh?

Hello,

I extensively test drove a X50i today , (I highly suggest you contact Paul Jang at South Bay BMW if you ever need a great deal and the best service).

This car did not have the 2 axle air, had the normal M suspension, and the 21" with runflats (which I find kinda ugly).

My build currently is ~ 102k, basically all the options except night time vision and the air axle.

My concern is that with the 22" wheels and the DHP Suspension.

I did not find the ride on the X5 I drove above to be harsh, will the DHP and 22 be worse, or will it be about the same or better because the 22" are not runflats?

Thanks!

I have the DHP with those lovely 21" RFTs you keep mentioning and it rides smoothly. Roads by me are garbage, even so I've only found a few places to be harsh. 22"s should ride fine

I have the 22s with DHP on a 50i, drove it for 2 weeks before installing the winter tires/rims...will be switching back to my 22" non RFT in 2 weeks or so...they rode beautifully and so smooth so I wouldn't worry about it, they look awesome too

No one seems to have a problem with the 22’ers. There isn’t much sidewall but that is the trade off for looks. Just watch the potholes.

Thanks guys, ya I may end up getting the wheel protection. I actually run 20 and 21" wheels on my other cars and have no issues but never a 22"

Some bumps might be on the harsher side as I found our today but it's worth the nice looks Still on 21 RFTs I'll swap to non RFTs once these need replacing either way I think the 22" are nice aside from no tire options like their 21"s
