Current Software for ID7?

What is the current software for I-Drive 7? I am running 03.2023.67 in my 2023 X5, but i thought i read somewhere others were running 07.2023.**. When i do a upgrade search in-vehicle it tells me that i am running the current version.

I'm still on 03/2021.50 if it makes you feel any better. Can't seem to get her to update for me. Put it on a charger overnight to see if that does the trick. But would also like to know what the latest stable version is so I have something to shoot for.

I think diff cars get diff versions since it's customized to VIN's. MyBMW app is telling me I have one available now, it's 03/2023.67 Also, I've just learned that if you don't take the upgrade, it will expire. Not sure how long it stays available as I didn't take note when it first appeared. My guess is around 2-3 months.

Nobody has definitively explained how vehicles get alerted to an update...unlike say an iPhone update that is open to everyone essentially at the same time, BMW doles them out with its own scheme, maybe to limit the load on their servers. Similar to say a WIN update, it appears that the BMW software is capable of adapting to various modules that may be in a vehicle, but it's also possible that the reason they dole them out is that it is customized for each vehicle. That was the practice with the i3...the dealers did not have the software in house...it was customized for each vehicle direct with the servers in Munich while the vehicle was attached to the computer...this took a bit longer than today's OTA update scheme.

Dealers should have 07/2023. I got a used 2020 M50i last month and the previous owner never updated the car. I tried to update but it was stuck on 07/2019 without Android auto and none of the remote control worked. Brought it in and got updated to 07/2023.40 then all problem fixed.

07/2023 is the current version at the dealers. However, there is always a lag geographically as well as certain models that are delayed or may never get an OTA. Typically the OTA will start rolling out a couple months or even used to be 4 months after the dealers get it. I wouldn't expect most to see an OTA before November if at all. Don't worry ... if you have a non-LCI, there's nothing new for you anyway.
