I don't believe that one is for a G05/G06 and I didn't see the installation instructions?

Yes, this is the correct one for the G0x models.

BMW unfortunately does not have installation instructions for this retrofit but has been done by many of my clients.

Is the LTE compensator (84108735008) required for installation?

Recently added LTE compensator to have fully retrofitted system. On my driveway inside the car I have 1 bar signal indicator without compensator, with have 2 bars. Using app cell info can see that , it adds around 10db. Most difficult was to cable with connect Fakra plug to the roof antenna unit without removing headlining, cable form charger to the LTE compensator -aerial and enabling signal , plus from the rear distribution box were less difficult to do. Attached show signals with enabled and disabled LTE compensator, phone has two sim cards for two different network. Both are amplified. Obviously enabling and disabling LTE compensator doesn't change charging functionality, it works all the time and charge phone. Only noticed today that when i have active call and put phone on the charger it doesn't start charging until call is finished.

Is this a simple swap of the parts and it will work (charge, NFC)?

Yes, it is an easy DIY install with a quick plug and play.

Do you happen to know where there are videos or pictures of this? Can you walk through how it's done?

Hello,

Unfortunately I do not have a DIY video to show how to install but do know a couple of clients used a YouTube Video for the steps.

Hello,

This is the standard BMW OEM wireless charger used in vehicles that have it installed from the factory.
