To those saying it's not coming stateside - hear me out. Yes the odds are low, but also think, Audi brought the RS6 for a REASON! There must be some demand out there for sport wagons. I think this thing comes stateside to compete with the RS6. No way bmw won't get it on that action and let Audi dominate the market.

Since BMW hasn’t certified any wagons for the US, including crash testing and so on, the chances of this making it to the US are zero. Nill. Won’t happen. Sorry guys.

I think Europe is still the bigger market for M cars than NA and maybe Asia. And wagons still get some love in certain European countries. In Sweden the most sold car is the V60 followed by the V90...and it has been like that for the last decades. Wagon domination...

Motor Trend says BMW told them nope - its not coming to the US.
https://www.motortrend.com/news/bmw-...urce=instagram "BMW doesn't sell any wagons here. And while the 3 Series wagon has been sold in the states before, but the current version of the long-roofed 3er isn't available to U.S. buyers (only the 3 Series sedan is). So, again, will the United States get the long-awaited M3 wagon? We reached out to BMW for comment with our fingers crossed, and, well, nope. The M3 Touring is not coming here." |

The posters and media outlets saying no way this comes to the US is reminiscent of the crowd sating that there is zero chance the G80 would have a manual transmission.
Let's wait until BMW says one way or the other.... An M3 touring with a manual = My dream car. |

The whole manual transmission issue was all speculation, BMW never mentioned it not being available nor did I read a report of them saying it wouldn't be available on the F8X. Besides, not sure how well it would sell. All the hype around the RS 6 but in Canada (GTA), from what I'm told is there isn't much interest. Sure there have been inquiries but the interest doesn't match the hype on the internet - everyone would get a performance wagon if it came here. In fact I know someone who already has an order...the sales manager at an Audi dealership. Last edited by TheBingoBalls; 08-12-2020 at 08:01 PM.. |

New-used comparisons suck, but a CPO Porsche Sport Turismo is probably around the same price as what an M3T would be.
