I found this on another Bimmer forum: "The next thing to watch out for is the day on which the status code of your vehicle order (your dealer gets these updates from the factory) changes to 165 which means that the vehicle was loaded onto the ship and set sail to Germany in your case."

So maybe it's already loaded?

I believe this means that it left the factory and is on it's way to Europa but that could also mean it is on route Spartanburg --> Charleston.

I also asked for more info about shipping and the shipping company but the dealer says they can't see that.

You can try a daily track and trace at the Wallenius website and hope it pops up one day.
When I check the schedules at https://www.walleniuswilhelmsen.com/schedules from Charleston --> Zeebrugge the first one is on July 3rd, I wouldn't be surprised if it will be on that one.
I hope mine can make it on that on that one too.

Or they must take another shipping company. K-line's Horizon Highway is departing Charleston June 19th and arriving in Zeebrugge at July 6th

I don't know if they ship with other companies and on what it depends if they choose another company. K-line can't be tracked to my knowledge.

If they ship with Wallenius on July 3rd that means that the car is almost waiting a month for transportation!

I'm afraid that your next update will be from your dealer stating it has arrived and that will be around a month from now minimum.

I ordered my 2020 X5 yesterday. Hopefully there are not any issues with the changeover to 2021 builds. Great vehicle. My wife and both fell in love with it during the test drive.

If I recall correctly, the production start date is the when they start stamping out the body parts from the sheet metal.

I did every week for the past month but still didn’t get a chassis number or VIN or any update on production date.
