XLine model blacked out

Hi! Posted this to benefit those xline owners out there. Xline models seem to be lacking accessories such as exhaust tips, front lip etc. So I took the car to a local vinyl sticker specialist to wrap the chrome window trims, front bumper trims, side intake trim, rear bumper trims and exhaust tips. Grill has been changed to a black X5M grill bought on eBay.

Very nice. I did the same to my car. Still need to do the exhaust tips though. Makes a huge difference in the overall appearance.

I’m a Xline owner, exhaust tips is something I want to do but haven’t find anything yet out there. Btw looks good those shuttles changes make a difference. I did painted on mine all plastics in same color as the car

Looks great. I'm waiting for all my parts to come in and some free time. I'm going to be doing vinyl on everything but painting reflectors, diffuser and front lip

Cablesurgesg What did you use to change the silver to black in the bottom right/left front?

Xline - Improvements

I would like to show you the mods I'm staring with my X5 xline. I have painted everything that was black to body color and have vinil taped everything chrome or silver to black, Hopefully by the end of the year I'll have 22s but I trust your advice on tire and rim width.

Let me know what you all think!

I have added the JB4 and I'm thinking about adding on mod parts on the car. I receive any recommendations!!

Looks fantastic man! Doing the same with my xLine. Didn't want the aggressive M sport design but also don't want the naked plastics.

Not sure how your new rims will sit but if they are similar to the ones on there now, I'd want to do spacers at least on the rear (if this was my car)

Looking forward to seeing what you do with it!

Edit: quick question on painting the bumper: how did you deal with the sensors built into the bumper? My wheel arches are done but I've been holding off on the bumper because of the sensors built in

I love the paint job. That is how the x line should have come but I guess it would have stolen m sport package sales. Did you remove all the black plastic pieces for the paint shop to do?

I'm curious as well.
I think we can also wrap the plastic with vinyl too right?

Did you guys have to sand/prime the bumper when you painted them?
What's the best source to learn how to remove the panels?
