Silly question, but does the dealer give you grief about the down pipes? I had the car recently in for a misfire (fouled spark plug) and they started asking me about my exhaust. I would have challenged them, but I told them I didn’t touch the down pipes and that seemed to put them at ease. BMW has been a bunch of hard asses about mods lately.

Can you please be more specific on the steps from start to finish one must do to get this done so we all know. This has been a mystery and some in the past have made claims it works but it has been proven time and time again to throw errors in the onboard infotainment. Please let us us know the specifics. Thanks.
