Oil Catch Can?
Sorry in advance if this has already been discussed, but nothing came up in my searches.
I took delivery of my wife's 2020 X5 xDrive40i a couple weeks ago. Does this platform benefit from the use of an oil catch can? I run them in my current and past vehicles, but don't see much out there about running one on current X5 models. We plan to keep this car for a while so I am up for any possible preventative measures. |

Nothing that's worth doing in the first 4 years.
No reason to own a modern BMW past its warranty period. Enjoy it and trade it in after the warranty expires. From my understanding these B58's are BMW's most reliable and stout I6's ever built. |
