I had this ordered way back before BMW officially nixed 4UB for MY 2019 orders. Our reps weren't sure if it would actually be built so we let it be and finally it arrived!

looks good! bittersweet for us. we originally ordered with 3rd, but because of the extreme delay (without confirm date), we cancel and reordered it. we were still able to get the air suspension, IAS and the spare tire package.

There is no storage space under the floor whatsoever if you have 3rd row. F15 X5 at least had a small space.

Awesome. The back cover fits in the rear.

Maybe I should sell mine. I haven't picked it up yet and I have almost everything except massage seats. I know, please don't remind me that this option is a must have. No 3rd with massage or third row. It was too late to add it.

Dont think 3rd row or massage is a must have If 3rd row was a must, teh x7 would be an option.

we got ours pretty loaded, so not much more for the x7, but since 3 row wasnt priority, we used the extra $$ to get everything we "wanted" in in the x5

Has anyone heard more on 3rd row availability?

While people make fun of the 3rd row in an X5 it's absolutely perfect when you have small children which is who it's made for.

Dealer can't provide any info. Seems a rerelease would make sense for the 2020 model but not confirmed. Has anyone heard anything definitive?

Is the 2020 expected to available to build in June with July delivery?

The third row reminds me of airline seats....

3rd row still unable to order?

Can anyone confirm if 3rd row can still be ordered in Canada? There is a build option with the 3rd row on BMW Web site but per the info on this thread 3rd row is off until 2020?

Have the 3rd row in my 2018 and my 7 year old refuses to sit back there it is extremely tight , don't really belong in the x5 , to be honest we test drive the x7 to stick with the 3rd row and even that was tight can't compare to infinity or the Mercedes gl my wife's favorite and adult can fit comfortably, so I ended up going with the x5 with no 3rd row , just so much more sporty and drives amazing compared to the x7

In Jay Pichardo's video the second row seats had a pillow on the head rest. It looked like these were factory installed and built in. Other videos I've seen of the X5 the second row seat head rests don't have pillows.

Does anyone know if those pillows come with the G05 X5? If it is purchased separately, what is the part number? Does one only get the pillows if a certain package is ordered?

Thanks.

I received pillows with mine. They were in plastic bags in the back and I have never opened them. They look like they just strap onto the headrests and nothing that has to be "installed". I do not know if they are part of a package, or standard, but I did see somewhere else on the forum where someone posted the part numbers. See if anything comes up with a search.

I can confirm F15 3rd row rubber mat as picture shown just doesn't fit G05.

Can anyone else confirm if the F15 third row liner (82112285519) will fit the G05? Not saying who's right/wrong but we have one person indicating it fits and another saying it doesn't.

I had f15 with third row and used the original third row liner 82112285519 as well. I kept it for my new g05 with third row but it didn’t fit at all. Indeed the shape of F15 3rd row liner blocked the track rail of 2nd row seats in G05

X5 3rd row is not available?

Just spoke to a dealer in NJ and he said BMW has stopped making the 3rd row. Is that accurate? I don't see it as a configurable option on the BMW site either. Can anyone confirm?

So you actually received a 2019/2020 X5 with a 3rd row? My dealer says BMW is not making it anymore.

That is correct, they stopped making them awhile ago. It should be back for 2020 according to the pricing guide but there could be a production constraint for next year also, at least at some time.

So I asked my dealer to check to see if and when I'd be able to order the M50i with the 3rd row option and he got back an ambiguous answer of if it doesn't happen by April of 2020, it's not happening at all.

The M50d is available with the 3rd row, so I'm not sure if there's really any reason why the 50i and M50i wouldn't be unless they changed something in the rear specifically for the 8 cylinder models.

Probably just a marketing decision but who knows. Right now the 2020 price guide shows it is not available for the 50s, maybe that will change later as he said.
