Shit thats disappointing man! Did you ask the SA what status the car is at?
Perhaps its still the AMP missing..

I was able to add HK today into my order without delaying production week.. so fingers crossed

I share the frustration. Mine (also Belgium) ordered september, left the factory 27 dec, according to the dealer no deletions.

When I checked-in, 2 weeks ago, it was vague reason that the car should receive an "update for the screen in the port". unclear what port and no details on the 'update'. FYI I had to go for B&W as HK was not an option.

My assumption, was the port of origin, but i didn't ask. Until now the dealer is also very evasive when I ask for the VIN. (also tried the screenshot idea ;-).

Sounds like you were caught in the touchscreen delete and it needs to have the iDrive update applied.

That was my first thought also, according to the dealer 'It was something else'. Production week, last week of december, also is out of the 'no touch' batches.

Yes, last week of December was well after the touchscreen delete stopped. I wish you the best and hopefully you get it soon.

There is a BMW ‘Drivers Guide’ app. that I was able to download to my iPhone. Once production was finished, I was able to enter the VIN and get the manual for my vehicle. It purports to have only the instructions for the features on the individual unit.

I sympathize with your wait as I’ve been in the same position but my X5 40i in MGM is supposed to arrive this Wednesday. At least the manual gives you lots to read and learn in the interim.

"Expected modifications to the vehicle" in Bremerhaven, without more concrete details... delivery is now scheduled week 12, I got a screenshot from his system as proof...

Mine was delayed 8 weeks. Initial delivery was in 17 weeks from ordering. It took 25 weeks in the end (also Belgium). Just took delivery two weeks ago. My dealer is in Puurs but really nothing they could do about it.

Updated production status: code 190. Normally my X5 should have been loaded into ship from Bremerhaven to Zeebrugge today but unfortunately ships stayed in harbor because of heavy winds... :-( According to my SA, if the ship leaves tomorrow (Saturday), I can have the car next Friday while I leave for Austria on skitrip on Saturday early morning. I will drop my winterset at the dealer and cross my fingers until they bleed. :-)

I might come and watch the delivery Mine still not in sight! But this week I'll cross my fingers you don't have to drive an Audi for the vacation!!
